At Reactor, we were thrilled to partner with Touched By Fire for their annual art show, crafting a bold suite of marketing materials that captured its vibrant energy. We designed a cohesive campaign featuring a 72-page catalogue, striking posters, engaging postcards, custom tickets, and digital evites. Every piece was thoughtfully created to showcase the artistry, invite community engagement, and elevate the event experience.

Collaborative Illustration Development

We partnered with artist Clayton Hammer to bring this project to life. The goal was to create engaging visuals that would connect with queer men in a playful, accessible way. Clayton provided the original artwork, and from there we transformed his hand-drawn illustrations into clean, high-resolution digital files ready for print and layout.

Seamless Layout and Typography Design

With the art prepped, we designed the layout to ensure the messaging flowed naturally around the illustrations without overwhelming them. We made sure the text and visuals worked together, balancing important safety tips with an approachable, comic-inspired look. Each section is clearly organized, easy to scan, and maintains visual consistency across both the poster and wallet card.

Event Materials Colour + Accessibility

We added a bold and vibrant colour palette that complements Clayton’s linework while keeping the tone light and inviting. Every design decision considered accessibility and clarity, especially with dense info like step-by-step instructions or health terms. The final result is a set of materials that are visually striking, informative, and designed to resonate with the community they’re made for.
