It is nearly time for another ‘Adventures Unlimited’ event !!!!
The 9th Annual Art Car Boot Fair 2012 returns to Brick Lane on Sunday, May 27th. 12 – 6 PM
and She’ll be there with a fresh new installation!
Carolyn has created a magic photo booth for the grand occasion. Bold souls, and curious creatures are invited to take part.
Come visit her stand and you will be given the opportunity to transform into the character of your dreams. Time travel is also a possibility. You will even be able to take your photograph away with you.
An assortment of affordable Gowdyworks, magic timepieces, follow your heart compasses, bird toys, wearable art pieces, limited edition prints, light reflectors, etc. will also be available on the day. There will be a raffle. Winner receives one of Carolyn’s limited edition prints.

Every December, for the past twenty or so years Carolyn’s created illustrations for ‘The Spectator Magazine’s Christmas short story. It’s an annual event. An author of distinction is each year especially commissioned to write the piece. Recent contributers have included William Boyd, Peter Ackroyd, etc. Last year it was by Julian Barnes who went on to win the Booker Prize. The U.K. Spectator Magazine’s special ‘Christmas Issue’ will be available from newstands on December 18, and also online. You will find four of Carolyn’s most recent illustrations, picture poems inside!

On 7th August, Carolyn was at ‘The Apple Cart Festival’ in London with her ‘Poem People’ installation. There were plenty of delectable ‘Gowdyworks’ made up of live ‘Poem People Portraits’ on the day.
