In 1992 the Scarborough Arts Council commissioned this mural as part of a plan to create a mural route along Kingston Road to commerate the area’s history.
Jeff Jackson’s work features the H.M. Schooner Onondaga which was built in 1790 near Kingston and frequently sailed past the Scarborough Bluffs bringing settlers and supplies to Upper Canada.
Too bad that the mural hasn’t been kept up by the current property owner!
