Every December, for the past twenty or so years Carolyn’s created illustrations for ‘The Spectator Magazine’s Christmas short story. It’s an annual event. An author of distinction is each year especially commissioned to write the piece. Recent contributers have included William Boyd, Peter Ackroyd, etc. Â Last year it was by Julian Barnes who went on to win the Booker Prize. The U.K. Spectator Magazine’s special ‘Christmas Issue’ will be available from newstands on December 18, and also online. Â You will find four of Carolyn’s most recent illustrations, picture poems inside!
